Qualifications

Required
--------

 o  Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations.
 o  Software architecture leadership experience, including designing complex, multi-component software systems.
 o  Expert problem-solver. Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions.
 o  Is a compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings. Easily adjusts the message to match the audience. 
 o  Writes powerfully and persuasively using various styles and effectively addresses different needs and audiences.
 o  Mastery of Java with extensive knowledge of performance-tuning and object-oriented design patterns.
 o  Advanced Java Beans programming skills.
 o  Advanced Java Servlet programming skills.
 o  Expert understanding of XML, including how to integrate XML with DHTML and Cascading Style Sheets, creating custom search tools, DTDs, and commercial Web solutions, and 

using XML for data-driven applications.
 o  Advanced object-oriented design (OOD) experience.
 o  Ability to create detailed functional and technical design specifications for software development efforts. 
 o  Experience establishing an enterprise framework for all phases of software development: requirements, design, development, testing, and delivery.
 o  Experience gathering software requirements by interviewing users, creating requirements documents, and developing prototypes. 
 o  Expert understanding of Unified Modeling Language (UML), including architecture, modeling mechanisms, visualization, and problem-solving.
 o  Advanced web application implementation experience, including clustering.
 o  Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks. Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or 

deadlines. 
 o  Can define own role, take on responsibilities, and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
 o  BS or equivalent experience.


Preferred
---------

 o  Experience with JSP, JBoss, SVN or CVS, Open Source, Portals, SOA, Web 2.0, JavaScript, Community, MySQL, PHP, Linux/Unix, PHP, PERL, EJB, Servlet, Struts, Agile, ANT, 

TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Eclipse
 o  Extensive experience in planning work, setting goals, outlining tasks, and contingency planning.
 o  Experience managing multiple teams of technical employees through numerous project milestones. 
 o  Capable of producing comprehensive software documentation, such as requirements specs, design docs, change logs, and unit test plans.
