As an Interface Developer, you are responsible for the design and implementation of Informiam’s rich internet applications using technologies such as AJAX, Flex and Flash. You are knowledgeable in all aspects of developing commercial software applications and thrive at tasks involving analyzing requirements, building technical designs, and implementing complete solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

As a technically-focused team member, you will work extensively with various disciplines in the product team and are expected to follow and enhance our development practices. You must be committed to developing award-winning applications using state-of-the-art technologies and practices. You will apply your skills in software, graphic design, and information design to build compelling user experiences that are rich and appealing and are yet easy to use and understand.

Responsibilities

    * Engage in the design, implementation and deployment phases of our SDLC.
    * Design and implement new features for deployment across our entire product line.
    * Extend existing products.
    * Perform development, unit testing, and application testing individually and in collaboration with the team.
    * Manage versioning of code assets in a repository.
    * Support problem resolution efforts by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about applications.
    * Research and evaluate software (including open source libraries and 3rd party products) for inclusion in the development process.
    * Document application design, implementation, and repair decisions.
    * Communicate status to team members and managers. 

Requirements

    * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience
    * 3+ years of web-based graphical interface application development
    * 2+ years of of professional JavaScript? programming experience
    * 2+ years of dynamic data exchange using XML or JSON
    * Experience with Flex and AJAX frameworks
    * Embraces command-line development tools
    * Strong interpersonal skills
    * Acute attention to detail
    * Strong communication and conceptual skills
    * Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
