Java Developer: Good Work/High Comfort

SolTech has been asked to identify a solid Java/J2EE Developer for one of our clients.

Our client is a successful software products and services company located in “In Town” Atlanta near Buckhead and convenient to I-85. The current requirement is with a group that develops financial applications and delivers analytical data to corporate clients. It is a profitable and growing product line and this well managed group enjoys nice corporate support.

The work is a variety of Java, Scripting, and SQL. The group’s technologies are in the process of upgrade (for example Java 1.3 to later releases, and overall architectural changes focusing on a more rigorous OO approach). SolTech has had the opportunity to have our consultants and our staffing candidates go to work in the group and the consistent feedback is that the work is solid, interesting, and just challenging enough to constantly stretch one’s talents. Another very positive factor in working in this group is that the majority of the time, you will be working from home. The group has been very successful in delivering results using a telecommute model, and team members consistently report that the work life style is terrific.

We are staffing an expansion position in this group.

We are looking for:

•	Degree; Sun Certifications are a big plus
•	3+ years Java/J2EE Development
•	Experience and ability on all tiers
•	Scripting (Perl, Python, etc.) is a huge plus
•	Ability to work with minimum direction
•	Outstanding Communication/Interpersonal Skills
