Our customer is a leading provider of both regulatory and compliance software products for payroll and payroll/HR systems. They specialize in business application software with roots in government regulations and laws with which corporate North America must comply or risk fines and penalties. They are currently looking for a developer to primarily work on developing the Front-end components of a brand new Compliance Application. Initially this will be a 6 month contract.

Desired minimum of three years including recent work experience for the following: 

• J(2)EE Development, Java Open Source Framework: Spring, Hibernate, Struts, AXIS, ANT • J2EE, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Java Servlets, Tag Libraries • JDBC, JMS, JNDI, XML, JAXP, Swing, AWT, Java IDE • Databases: Oracle, PL/SQL, DB2, SQL Server • BEA WebLogic, WebSphere Portal Server, Portlet Programming, StrutsPortlet • Design Enterprise Applications with J(2)EE, Object-Oriented Design & Analysis, J(2)EE & GoF Design pattern • Strong knowledge of the software lifecycle, UML, Agile, Rational Unified Process (RUP) development methodologies • Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), SOAP, WSDL, UDDI • LOG4J, JUnit
