Key job functions:
ChoicePoint, Insurance Technology Solutions is searching for very skilled software engineers who can provide innovative and enduring technical solutions.  Our platform is Java/J2EE (WebLogic and JBoss), Oracle and Solaris.  As ChoicePoint is a premier information company, our applications typically deal with very large data sets while simultaneously upholding aggressive transaction response times.  Our customer interfaces take many different forms, including web applications and web services.

The ideal candidate for this position has solid experience in the entire software development life cycle, is comfortable with iterative development methodologies and is very team-oriented.  

In this exciting position you will:
• Design, estimate, code and test significant components of an architecture.  You will also be able to provide input into that architecture.
• Provide support to our QA and Production/Operations teams.
• Interface with Marketing, Project Management, Technology Management and Lead Architects.
• Have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership qualities, if you are interested in doing so.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 6+ years of software development experience required. 
• 5+ years of Java programming experience required. 
• 3+ years of J2EE experience required; WebLogic and/or JBoss preferred. 
• 3+ years of experience with web technologies preferred (JSP, struts, JSF, AJAX, etc.) 
• 4+ years of Oracle RDBMS experience required. 
• 3+ years of UNIX development required; Solaris preferred. 
• Experience with JBuilder and/or Eclipse preferred
