Our client located off of Northside Drive in Atlanta is looking for a Software Developer -server engineer to join their team.  The position will develop applications for a new / creative product line. This is a suite of IPTV based applications that delivers movies, photos, and radio through the broadband service. 

You will work in a dynamic environment on highly visible products. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and releasing great products to users. 
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Candidates must be proficient in both programming and backend systems design, development, and operations. In addition, you must be eager to meet challenges and take ownership to drive projects

REQUIREMENTS
------------
* 5+ years server software development experience
* C++, PHP, Apache, FreeBSD or Linux
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Desirable:
* Perl, shell scripting,
* CSS, JavaScript, DHTML
* MySQL
* large-scale, large-user base web site development/operations experience
* data analysis skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
----------------
* Back-end systems development for web-based applications
* Platform engineering upon which front-end web developers will build
* Integrate our systems with those of other teams and our partners
* Contribute to technology and platform strategies and execute on them
* Keep our systems and our users safe and secure
* Operational ownership of systems; build highly available, scalable systems and coordinate their operation with operations teams; know your systems inside and out, and own them from the ground up
