We are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst with the following background and experience:

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline
0 – 2+ years work experience in developing Java applications

Proficient in Core Java programming
Experience in Web-related technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DHTML, XML/XSL
Thorough understanding of OOA/OOD/OOP techniques with knowledge of UML and design patterns



 

DESIRED:   

Knowledge of open source technologies such as Hibernate, Tomcat, Spring, Struts, ANT, JUnit, etc.

ABILITIES/SKILLS:

The ideal candidate should have a passion for software development with the ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.  The candidate will have the ability to meet directly with user representatives to collect and analyze system requirements, translate specifications to design, and then implement the designs. 

The successful candidate will be able to work largely on his/her own and perform all tasks of the entire development lifecycle, from analysis all the way through deployment.  He/She will also demonstrate solid communication skills with both internal employees/management and client resources.

This position is based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

On a day-to-day basis our employees say that they like the interesting work we do and being part of projects that make a difference. Just about every week there's an article in the newspaper about a criminal being apprehended and although we're rarely mentioned we know our software helped make that happen. Our software helps catch violent criminals, child pornographers and aid in negotiation of hostage situations.
