CST Software Engineer

This person develops and maintains a J2EE application that manages all aspects of compliance and compensation for insurance producers. This person performs complex technical design, analysis, and troubleshooting of software issues. This person also develops detailed technical specifications for project tasks and assists other software engineers in resolving technical and support issues. This individual must be able to work on multiple projects with little or no supervision, and follow through on each task to completion.


CST SE
Minimum Technical Experience - required
•	2+ years of Java application development
•	1+ years of Web Services
•	2+ years of Transact-SQL
•	1+ years of XML
•	2 + years of data conversion, interfaces or data transformation

Previous work environment – strongly preferred
•	Software application development and/or software support environment where deliverables are used by multiple and diverse clients
•	Contact with Business Analysts, QA Analysts and End Users
•	Multi-threaded, fast paced environment

Personality Traits and Soft Skills - required
•	Team oriented self starter with a positive attitude
•	A predisposition to attack issues head on instead of looking for reasons to struggle or waiting for someone else to address the problem
•	Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
•	Good written and verbal communication skills
