Senior Java Developer

Are you tired of the commute into Atlanta?  

We have a permanent position available in Marietta with a leader in the Financial Services Industry!  This is a dynamic role on a team of Java Developers that are designing cutting-edge applications that will be used internally by this financial industry leader.  

If you are an experienced Java developer that is passionate about designing and developing great software, our client would like to talk to you!

Responsibilities:

Designing, implementing and deploying new web-based enterprise applications 
Enhancing features of existing applications, adding new features to existing applications
Translation of business requirements into technical specs 
Working with business analysts to translate ideas into real-world solutions 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 
Minimum of 4 years professional software development experience 
Must have strong J2EE - Java, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, HTML/DHTML, and JavaScript
Must have strong RDBMS experience including excellent SQL skills 
Experience with web-based Java application development 
Experience writing and debugging multi-threaded Java applications is preferred 
Individual must take initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision 
Excellent communication and verbal skills 
Must thrive in a fast-paced, small team work environment
