As a Server Software Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of a scalable, highly reliable communications server running on Windows and Unix (Linux).  You should be experienced in optimization and scalability techniques for Java based server products.  You should also be experienced with communications protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP and HTTP.  You will work as part of a server team whose goal is to provide a robust, scalable and highly reliable that supports a variety of activities simultaneously including an integrated website and connections from wired and wireless communications devices.  

Requirements:
•	Computer Science, Computer Engineering or 4-year IS degree 
•	Over 7 years hands-on, experience as a software developer 
•	Over 2 years hands on Java experience 
•	Must have at least 2 years of experience on Windows and Unix
•	Experience includes: Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTTP, SOAP, XML, Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Relational Databases, JDBC, socket programming, multi-threaded programming and OOD.
•	Development experience with PIM systems and protocols, such as, Exchange, Outlook, MAPI, POP3, IMAP, Domino is highly desireable.
•	Commercial software experience
•	Wireless email protocols and applications experience is nice to have.
•	Demonstrated experience in improving performance and scalability of web server components
•	Proven track record accomplishing organizational goals 
•	Good written and verbal communication skills 
•	Ability to work independently  within a team 
•	Good analytical skills 
•	Ability to multitask and support multiple projects with hard deadlines 
•	Excellent English language skills, ability to write documentation
