Java/J2EE: Great Jr/Mid-Level Slot

SolTech has been asked to identify a sharp Intermediate Level Java/J2EE Developer for one of our clients.

Our client is an established services company in Buckhead. The company applies various cool technical solutions to improve its customers’ bang for the buck in the sales/marketing area. It is, indeed, cool slick stuff. The company is technology-driven, offers a very good and casual work environment, and an opportunity for technical contribution and diversity of projects.

The company is looking for both a “what” and a “who”. 

The “what” is a Java generalist. Beyond that, a software development generalist who gets it—sees software as a tool to create business fixes. The core skills are Java/J2EE. Good core Java plus solid front end skills/JSP plus a real command over database/SQL. Maybe some working experience with Open Source technologies (Hibernate, Struts, etc.) thrown in. The what is a solid software mechanic with greatest strength in Java/J2EE. 

The “who” is eager, quick learner, a person who steps up, a team player and a solo performer. Our client needs the kind of presence that can be put in front of customers. Our client needs an enthused mechanic that can build and fix. Our client needs a juggler who thrives on multi-tasking and welcomes diversity in the work load. Our client needs the impressive work in progress who can grow into tomorrow’s go-to person and technical leader.

We figure that the ideal candidate has a great Degree. A year or two or maybe three years of Java-centric development experience. Packaged nicely in a client/user/team friendly package. Engergized by a powerful little operating system.

We need:

•	Degree
•	1+ years Java/J2EE Development
•	Specific strength in Core Java, JSP, SQL; Open Source exp highly prfd
•	Huge Interpersonal Skills
