S1 is currently seeking 4 talented, experienced Java Developers to
integrate into a team of developers building a web-based financial
services application. These positions can be located in our Corporate
Headquarters in Atlanta or our Littleton, MA office. 

In this role, you will research, design, develop, implement and test
computer software in a client/server environment utilizing Java/J2EE. 
Translate application requirements and use cases into problem-domain
object oriented work products. Develop analysis/design artifacts
including object models, scenarios/sequence diagrams, etc. Translate and
implement design artifacts into source code. Thoroughly test the
implemented application to ensure requirements are met. Provide
technical support to junior team members as required. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or
equivalent experience
• 7 years experience as a object oriented software developer including
object oriented design
• 3-4 years experience developing Java/J2EE applications
• 2-3 years developing Client/Server applications for WebSphere
application server environments
• Experience developing software utilizing a formal software development
methodology such as Rational Unified Process
• Experience in XML technologies (SOAP, XSL, XSLT), Struts and grnds
• Experience utilizing WSAD/eclipse as a development environment
• Experience utilizing Rational’s ClearQuest and ClearCase tools
• Must have the ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems
that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Must have the ability to guide the successful completion of major
programs and may function in a project leadership role.
• Must have the ability to represent the organization as the prime
technical contact on contracts and projects.
