S1 Corp. is currently seeking a talented, experienced User Interface
Developer to integrate into a team of developers building multi-channel
applications for financial institutions. This position can be located in
our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta of our office in Littleton, MA. 

This position involves all aspects of user interface design for
multi-channel financial services including:
• Advanced level HTML, CSS and JSP/Struts coding
• Creating excellent documentation
• Developing new concepts and prototypes that adhere to S1 standards and
guidelines
• Testing user interface functionality and usability
• Communicating design issues to project developers and management
• Utilizing version control software and fostering excellence in design.
• Contributing to the UI Best Practices Group whose charter is to set
corporate positions/standards on accessibility, code/browser validation,
general human factors/user experience design patterns for all S1
Enterprise applications

Candidates require:
• Expert knowledge of and hands-on experience programming in HTML, CSS and
JSP’s 
• Familiarity with JavaScript
• Understanding of accessibility and Cross-Browser/Platform rendering
issues
• Strong knowledge of user-interface and web design standards and their
application
• Understanding of information design
• Understanding of user task analysis and UI research methodology
• Experience utilizing a formal software development process
• Results-oriented mind-set
• Self-motivated, hardworking and able to work collaboratively as a member
of a team.

Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science with emphasis on User Interface Design or BFA in
Graphic Design or Human Factors/Usability
• 4+ years of hand-on experience developing in HTML, JSP’s and CSS
• 2-4 years developing Client/Server applications for WebSphere or
WebLogic application server environments
• Good practical knowledge of various graphics applications (e.g.,
Photoshop; Illustrator; Fireworks) and mainstream office applications (MS
Word, MS Project, Excel, Visio Professional). 
• Experience developing software utilizing a formal software development
methodology such as Rational Unified Process
• Experience utilizing WSAD/eclipse as a development environment is a plus
• Experience utilizing Rational’s ClearQuest and ClearCase tools
• Must have the ability to work on unusually complex technical problems
and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious.
