Job Description:

Responsibilities

Lead the technical team developing and enhancing e-commerce applications.  Work with business and marketing to understand the overall requirements.  Work with Chief Engineer to ensure a consistent architecture across various systems.  Ensure the overall technical quality of the applications through design and code reviews.  Design, Code, Unit Test and document features utilizing JSP/Java/JDBC.  Integrate 3rd party components into the site (e.g., data warehousing, email campaign management).  

Experience
•	Minimally 2+ years in a technical leadership position, 4+ years Java J2EE web development, 8+ years software development
•	Solid understanding of subscription-based e-commerce – e.g., offers/renewal, recurring billing
•	Extensive Java development with n-tier enterprise infrastructure integration, i.e. authorization services, multiple integration backend APIs, messaging, web services exposure/consumption
•	Internet development using JSP, TagLibs, Java, JDBC, JUnit and SQL.  Preferably some experience with Struts, Spring or Hibernate
•	Agile Development processes – e.g. incremental development, short iterations, evolving requirements
•	Unix development environment – Solaris or Linux and CVS. Preferably experience with CVS, Ant, Maven

•	Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence staff beyond direct reports
