Valyn Staffing Solutions, Inc.  is currently seeking talented, experienced
Java Developers to integrate into our client's team of skilled
professionals who are busy building a state-of-the-art Web-based
applications for financial institutions.

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting software
products for an eFinance solution provider. This team-based position will
work with business analysts and other development team members to develop
features, enhancements and repair defects. Will support our test teams and
customer support teams in their duties, reporting to the Development
Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, code, test and package plug-ins for next-generation
applications.
Work with project managers and technical leads to produce detailed designs
and provide detailed estimates for new features, enhancements or repairs
to existing programs. Produce specifications and lead a team of developers
for delivering solutions. Support development of documentation and
training materials for other personnel and customers Supporting testing
activities by our internal test teams.


Professional Experience:



2-3 years development experience with Java and/or JSPs, Struts
framework, and 3-5 years of development experience overall is required.
Java/J2SE certification is a plus. A minimum of 2 years of development
experience on J2EE architecture is required. 2+ years experience with
application servers (IBM Websphere or BEA Weblogic) on WIN2K and/or AIX
platforms and DB2 database is required. Hands-on software tool development
experience is strongly preferred. Experience with IBM Websphere Studio
development tool preferred. Experience with Rational ClearCase and
ClearQuest preferred.

Other experience:



Significant exposure to Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodologies.
Experience with team-based development approach.

Must have experience in transactional systems within banking industry -
must understand banking applications, specifically corporate and business
banking.

Additionally, the candidate must pass a thorough background
investigation, be eligible to work in the United States, and must either
live in the Atlanta metro area or be willing to relocate at his or her own
expense.
