Job Qualifications: We are currently seeking a Senior Enterprise Java Software Engineer with the following expertise: Core knowledge of Java-based technologies including the Java SDK and J2EE technologies including EJB, XML, and JMS. Experience with user interface technologies such as JSP, XML/XSL, and UI Design. Experience with Object Oriented technologies: OOA/OOD, Design Patterns, and UML.
Strong data integration skills and experience with experience with integration tools. Self-motivated, results oriented individuals driven to succeed in complex environments. Dedication to high quality software engineering. Comfortable with advanced techniques in software development and/or mathematics. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills and a powerful desire and ability to translate business needs into software solutions both in our product set and in complex customer deployments. Technology savvy - Internet, CRM, or e-business experience a plus. Master's Degree in relevant field is absolutely required as are GPAs over 3.5.
Job Description: The Senior Java Software Engineer will work with other developers and assist them with our ongoing development efforts. In addition they will work with our customer support professionals. Since Ravello Solutions is a specialty software company, the candidate will have to learn and master the basics of various commercial insurance lines and have a keen ability to manage several projects at the same time. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is extremely flexible.
