SUMMARY
Responsibilities for the Web Developer position include requirements gathering, design, development and integration of new web-based applications as well as maintenance of existing web-based applications. Web Developer position requires working knowledge of web technology development, integration and deployment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Communicate with management and clients, create use cases and gather system requirements.
•Participate in all phases of the software development process.
•Document software development/applications. 
•Design test scenarios.
•Perform testing on applications. 
•Other functions as required in the performance of TRX daily business requirements. 

   
POSITION REQUIREMENTS 
•Work effectively in a team environment.
•Must be flexible to work when needed with appropriate notice.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•A bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent work experience. 
•3-5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in the Web environment. 
•Experience in graphic design and Flash.
•Experience with some the following technologies:
JSP
ASP
Java/JavaScript
Relational databases
•Experience with web development on either a Windows or UNIX/Linux platform. 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS 
•Must be able to internalize and understand management directives and communicate directives to other programmers.
•Must have the ability to communicate ideas effectively verbally and in writing. 
•Strong documentation skills. 
•Communicate effectively with team members.
