Operations Support Engineer  (2 positions open)

·	Monitor operational activities on the Invoice Harbor system.
·	Resolve processing errors on the Invoice Harbor system using DevTrak.
·	Provide 1st tier application support to Invoice Harbor clients and users.
·	Introduce Active Batch jobs for Invoice Harbor clients.
·	Manage file transfer environment:
o	UNIX servers
o	SFTP servers
o	Manage file transfer user accounts
o	Primary system/network
·	Administer IH platform with proficient knowledge of UNIX systems and DevTrak.
·	On-call rotation – Blackberry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·	Basic programming/scripting in Shell, Java, Perl or related.
·	UNIX – commands, file movement, AWK, GREP, FIND.
·	Customer service/support skills.
·	Basic network administration/troubleshooting.
·	Windows 2000 Server administration.
·	Understanding of file transfer protocols, TCP/IP.
·	Basic understanding of encryption, esp. PGP, GDP.

Qualifications

·	7+ years in software development.
·	Experience with JavaScript, XSL, XML, HTML, WebLogic, and JSP, EJB or third party tools for web page templates, personalization, and content management, SQL and Oracle database concepts.
·	4+ years Java, J2EE experience, WebLogic 6.1
·	Development on Unix platforms.
·	Financial processing or banking knowledge.
·	Inter-enterprise or e-commerce systems experience.
·	Client server architecture and object oriented approaches.
·	Software Engineering methodologies, capability maturity model process.
·	Excellent communication skills to interface with the technical, QA, product development, implementation, and customer groups.
·	Excellent knowledge of software design and programming concepts.

Educational Preferences:

Bachelor’s degree in CS or Engineering . . . or related discipline.
Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role.
