Operations Support Engineer (2 positions open)
Â· Monitor operational activities on the Invoice Harbor system.
Â· Resolve processing errors on the Invoice Harbor system using DevTrak.
Â· Provide 1st tier application support to Invoice Harbor clients and users.
Â· Introduce Active Batch jobs for Invoice Harbor clients.
Â· Manage file transfer environment:
o UNIX servers
o SFTP servers
o Manage file transfer user accounts
o Primary system/network
Â· Administer IH platform with proficient knowledge of UNIX systems and DevTrak.
Â· On-call rotation â Blackberry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Â· Basic programming/scripting in Shell, Java, Perl or related.
Â· UNIX â commands, file movement, AWK, GREP, FIND.
Â· Customer service/support skills.
Â· Basic network administration/troubleshooting.
Â· Windows 2000 Server administration.
Â· Understanding of file transfer protocols, TCP/IP.
Â· Basic understanding of encryption, esp. PGP, GDP.
Â· 7+ years in software development.
Â· 4+ years Java, J2EE experience, WebLogic 6.1
Â· Development on Unix platforms.
Â· Financial processing or banking knowledge.
Â· Inter-enterprise or e-commerce systems experience.
Â· Client server architecture and object oriented approaches.
Â· Software Engineering methodologies, capability maturity model process.
Â· Excellent communication skills to interface with the technical, QA, product development, implementation, and customer groups.
Â· Excellent knowledge of software design and programming concepts.
Bachelorâs degree in CS or Engineering . . . or related discipline.
Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
