Technical Lead – Developer  (2 positions open)

This position is a self-motivated professional who contributes to highly skilled teams in all phases of software development, from requirements definition through deployment and operation.  This position delivers components of design code and test code, and they try to build the team and refine processes.  They will assist in project management, technical requirements definition, and technical sales support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·	Prepare technical requirements and specifications and object oriented design documents that address business requirements.
·	Evaluate business requirements and create estimates and project plans for development efforts consistent with best practice project methodologies.
·	Be skilled at evaluating and discussing business requirements with Billing Harbor clients.
·	Evaluate and recommend third party products and services in support of development requirements.
·	Will perform system analysis for new business requirements.
·	Architecture system for new features and enhancements.
·	Documents system requirement specifications and system design.
·	Lead individual projects/modules.
·	Assist the Project Management team by providing input in project plans.
·	Lead implementations.
·	Handle urgent production issues.

Qualifications

·	5+ years in software development.
·	3+ years in a technical leadership role.
·	Experience with C#, JavaScript, XSL, XML, HTML, IIS, .NET Framework, .Net personalization, and content management techniques, SQL database design and practical skills are required.  Also, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web Services, SOAP and programming/interface expertise with commercial IVR systems.
·	Experience with applications utilizing real time and batch data interfaces with external systems.
·	Development on Windows client and server platforms.
·	Invoice, billing, and payment industry experience helpful.
·	Distributed architecture and object oriented approaches.
·	Software engineering methodologies, capability maturity model process.
·	Excellent communication skills to interface with the technical, quality assurance, product development, implementation, and customer groups.
·	Excellent knowledge of software design and programming concepts.
·	Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects and implementations to on-time deployments with zero defects.
·	Possess a drive for excellence in all matters.

Educational Preferences:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
