Technical Sales

Develops and manages sales strategy and identifies methods of advising prospective clients of the value proposition and benefits of the Harbor Payments offering.  Utilizes strategic selling skills to maximize revenue and achieve better growth.  Applies technical and sales knowledge and policies in direct support to prospective clients.  Must have prospective client relations and both verbal and written communication skills.  May be expected to have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.  May require extensive traveling.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·	Develop and present online and on-site presentations.
·	Submit RFP responses.
·	Answer technical infrastructure and security assessment questionnaires/documents.
·	Creation of business whitepapers to highlight product differentiation.
·	Business analysis skills associated with ROI calculations.

Qualifications

·	Clear understanding of financial services/banking technology.
·	Experience delivering professional presentations.
·	Clear understanding of web based architecture.
·	ERP experience, i.e., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Lawson.
·	Supply-chain management experience.
·	Payment disbursements/processing background.
·	Understanding of EDI processes.
·	Strong, proven verbal and written skills.

Educational Preferences:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of selling experience.  MBA degree is a plus.
