IT Developers - Java (3 new positions)

 

We are expanding to meet our business customer needs and have added positions!

 

Work in an E-commerce solutions team with primary applications focusing on consumer self service and insurance agency portals. The primary role will focus on both new development and maintenance of J2EE applications with exposure to all technologies listed. These are full time career opportunities with a focus on employee development and growth.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIREMENTS):

·         1-3 years current experience coding in Java and J2EE. 

·         Must have basic knowledge of SQL.

·         Self-starter with the ability to code, test and debug business applications.

·         Ability to clearly communicate ideas and information verbally, both in one-on-one settings and in meetings.
·         Ability to present written information in a clear, concise, and organized manner.

·         Ability to manage own time, activities, and resources.         

·         BS/BA in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

.         Experience in a property and casualty insurance environment a plus but not required

·         Preferred J2EE knowledge includes Servlets, JSP, EJB, Web Services, JDBC, and JMS.

·         Experience with MVC frameworks including Struts and JSF a plus.

·         Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and Rational Application Developer a plus

·         The following technical skills are preferred but not required: JUnit, ANT, PHP, Java Script, Jython, CSS, AJAX, and AJAX toolkits.
