J2EE Development PM

SolTech has been asked to identify a talented Project Manager for one of our clients. 

This fast growth position is a Project Manager/Development Manager who will be responsible for driving large scale mission critical J2EE-based software development. The position calls for proven ability in the Project Management area as well as in depth knowledge (down to the coding level) of J2EE. Your leadership of projects should be able to include technical guidance to the development staff. An ideal profile is a PM and/or Development Manager with previous J2EE Design & Coding experience. Or a highly accomplished Senior or Lead level J2EE developer who’s ready to step into Project Management.

Our client (located in Downtown Atlanta) is a highly profitable and remarkably fast-growing industry leader. There is a huge amount of run room for the high performer here. The tasks at hand include major redesigns and builds of the core systems that drive the company. Technologies will include elements of classic J2EE plus our client plans to leverage some of the latest/greatest Open Source technologies. This is exciting work and a huge opportunity.

We are seeking:

•	Degree
•	4+ years of J2EE Development 
•	Experience should include both hands-on/technical contribution and project and/or development management
•	Proven ability (or maybe obvious potential) to take a project leadership role in J2EE development including PM methodologies, the ability to drive process and the knowledge to function as a technical resource
•	Huge subjectives: great communication skills, fabulous interface skills, and a bit of charisma
