Applications Engineer 
We are looking for individuals to help build a new internet-based business. The Applications Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality software components on time and within budget. Define software architecture with clear interfaces and properly structure modules to satisfy requirements 

Responsibilities 
Designs, develops, architects and manages the execution of software components for web/HTML-based applications. Integrates customer systems with infrastructure. Develops software to interface with databases that generate desired information on current systems, while anticipating migration to next generation systems. Mentoring of junior engineers, for coding standards, design principles and development processes. May perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 
Must demonstrate strong leadership and project management ability. Also responsible for determining how software technology can be used to help meet the objectives of new or modified products and services. B.S. degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred and 3-5 years experience in object oriented development. Expert in Java, EJB , and has advanced knowledge (and understands interrelationships) of PL/SQL. Oracle and UNIX (Prefer Solaris). Works with a high degree of independence.
