Job Description:

This person develops and maintains all computer software systems for the company. This person also performs technical analysis and develops technical specifications for project tasks, and works with little supervision.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Technical development experience with relational databases, XML development,GUI and Progress programming language 
Experience with non-qualified benefit plan administration and/or the financial service industry a plus 
Two or more years of experience with software development with service provider business or related business 
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 
Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail 
Ability to work in a team environment, track and report on task activities, and interface with corporate team members 
Ability to handle multiple tasks Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary 
Four year college degree preferred 
Education/Experience Requirements:

Design, develop, code, test and debug system applications 
Prepare detailed technical specifications and create scoping documents 
Analyze and revise existing system logic for current and new systems 
Provide technical support 
Participate in code and specification walkthroughs 
Assist with technical lead for a team of software engineers 
Occasional travel required (approximately 5%) 
Assists McCamish and client team members with the successful conclusion of a project so that it is on time and within budget 
Performs technical analysis, prepares technical specifications, coordinates development plans and uses various disciplines to achieve assigned goals 
Keeps McCamish management informed regarding project status, and identifies potential issues that may affect project success 
Follows McCamish Systems development and documentation standard
