Our customer is a national sales and distribution company that specializes in the aftermarket sales of automotive parts to the business to business and business to consumer markets. They are currently looking for a senior Java developer to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This position would be located north of Atlanta. 

The primary role for this person would be to join the 15 person existing development team and continue build internal applications. The application is built on Java with a Sybase backend database. Strong problem solving skills and a true passion for technology are needed for this position. There are both maintenance and new development responsibilities associated with this opportunity; so experience in a production environment is very critical. 

The application is written in pure Java, so strong development skills are needed. Additionally, any SWING experience is also useful, but not necessary. Experience with an application server is needed for this job. 

The position is located north of Atlanta and starts with applicable notice period. An online Java test must be completed prior to the interviews.
