Our client, located in the Cumberland Mall area, is currently seeking a permanent, full time Java Programmer to assist with the implementation/integration of systems/software within a variety of clients.  This company is a management and technology consulting firm helping businesses reach breakthrough levels of productivity in sales, marketing and customer service. 

Responsibilities:
Analyze, evaluate, implement, integrate and maintain systems developed internally and/or externally with an outside vendor.  Possess programming expertise in Java programming languages in order to develop and maintain software.  Develop appropriate software and documentation according to standards.  Support and troubleshoot systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up to clients.  Follow standards and methodologies in the development, implementation and integration of computer software.

Requirements:
8-12 years in business applications/programming experience.
Minimum of 3-4 year experience in Java development.
Working knowledge of XML
Experience writing JavaScript
Experience writing test scripts
Experience writing technical and functional specifications.
Working knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies.
Ability to develop in a UNIX or Windows environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects 
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical problems to non-technical audiences.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills

BS in Computer Science or Engineering required
MS in Computer Science or related field a plus.
