Job Description: 
Implementation Services Team Lead 

If you love technology, are an expert at writing code, enjoy solving
business and complex technical integration problems (especially for
customers!), and know that you can lead an efficient implementation
team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.   We are seeking a
top-notch lead engineer with expertise in Java who wants more than an
8-5 job writing code, and who can lead an experienced team of local and
remote members.

Requirements:

- 5+ years in software development using Java/Struts/JSP 
- 2+ years business analysis, integration consulting

- 2+ years project and team technical leadership

- 2+ years XML, XSLT and EDI - the XML stuff is real important! 
- Strong Unix, preferably Linux 
- Onsite customer consulting experience
- Demonstrable ability to understand business issues and processes and
to articulate the business context of projects and processes. 

- Solid experience creating low-level design documents and models

- A history of working in team-oriented environments, with a proven
track record for innovation and implementation. 

- Experience working with remote team members
- Commitment to results, success in getting things done through others,
a willingness to roll up the sleeves and do it personally when
necessary. 
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science-related field.  Masters degree a
big plus.

 

Other desired skills:
* Strong RDBMS design skills along with ODBC, JDBC or JCA 

* goXML or other Mapping tool
* MVS, Linux 
* J2EE

* PHP

* Web Services (UDDI, SOAP) 
* Message queuing and routing (JMS, MQ Series)

 


A Day in the Life:  
You will most likely be working on several projects simultaneously and
leading others.  Solution architecture and project design will be mostly
done by you.  You will be working with any number of well known and not
so well known applications, their adapters, APIs, schemas, and file
structures, or creating your own to meet the project needs.  You will
understand Data transformation and mapping needs and will be leading
others by example to keep the project on schedule.
