Hi fellow developers,

This is your friendly reminder that the *November AJUG Meeting* is here!
Therefore, please join us for this month's meeting on *Tuesday, November 15*.
We are excited to announce that *Steve Heckler* will present "*What’s New
in Tomcat 7.0?*". This may sound crazy, but this is our first presentation
on Tomcat in at least 7 years. This may in fact very well be the first
Tomcat presentation at AJUG ever. Quite remarkable, considering Tomcat's
successful existence since 1999. Therefore, please join us for this
historic event!

We also have new updates regarding *DevNexus 2012, *our annual developer
conference that will take place Wednesday and Thursday, *March 21st & 22nd
2012.* We kicked off with a Call for Papers on November 1st and if you like
to present or know somebody, please let us know - We want to make sure that
this will be Southeast's best developer conference.

We are already extremely proud to announce *our first keynote speaker*:
Patrick Curran, chair of the Java Community Process (JCP). As a next
milestone, we will *open registration on December 1*. Please mark your
calendars and stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks - Don't
forget to periodically check our website at
*http://www.devnexus.com/*<http://www.devnexus.com/>for updates and
also consider following us on Twitter
