Hello Atlanta Java Gurus,
The ITARC - IT Architect Regional Conference is scheduled for Atlanta, GA
Sept 13-14 at the Cobb Galleria. This is our first event of this kind in
the Atlanta area. This event is sponsored by your local IASA Chapter whose
membership represents some of the best and brightest architects, team leads
and IT executives in the local market. Consider this is a fantastic
educational event for those interested in taking that next step in their IT
career.
There are a lot of great sessions but I thought I would call out of a few
that you might be interested in:
- Architectural & Design Patterns by Mark Grand (Author of Patterns
in Java)
- 10 Ways to Improve your Code by Neal Ford (famous No Fluff Just
Stuff speaker)

up through the ranks of once being active in AJUG and now IASA, recently
promoted the SVP of Strategic Architecture for Bank of America)
- Agile Strategies for Enterprise Architects by Scott Ambler
(author, speaker, Agile Manifesto)
What you can expect from Atlanta ITARC:
* A strong regional focus. Receive case studies, best practices and
individual training from senior practicioners in your area
* Internationally acclaimed keynote speakers
* Affordable enough for your entire team to attend without sacrificing
quality
* Local focus, local benefits: proceeds from the event will be used to
support the local IASA Atlanta community
* Relevant topics for IT architects of all types and all levels
