Hello Atlanta Java Users,
We have several great meetings planned for the remaining part of the
Summer. This coming Tuesday (our normal 3rd Tuesday of the month),
July 18th we have Ben Galbraith of www.ajaxian.com. Web 2.0 means
that Dot Com economy has risen from the dead and the IT nuclear winter
has finally passed. AJAX-enabled developers are worth weight in gold
in California these days (155 lbs * 16 ounces per lbs * $360 per ounce
equals real money!).
On August 15th we have Venkat Subramaniam of NoFluffJustStuff.com fame
to give us a presentation on Open Source Tools for Agile Development.
Finally on September 19th we have a Date with James Gosling at
Atlantic Station's Regal Cinemas. In addition, James has been
nominated by Computer Weekly as one of the top people in the IT
