Here's an example of how to do that:
Page 1 links to
Page 2 links to
Page 3

When user is on Page 3 and clicks back, Page 2 shows up as expired.

You need to have Page 1 submit a POST method form to Page 2. The "Page 
Expired" message is displayed whenever there is missing post data (hitting 
back/forward does not resubmit the POST data).

The problem with this is that if the user hits reload they will still see 
Page 2. The Page Expired is purely cosmetic.
