Open source project (PHP based) for portal / collaboration web sitein a box?

I want to put up an internal portal / collaboration web site at work  
and at home.   I'm looking for a PHP based framework that allows for  
user created public blog(s) and message board and optionally  
calendar/email lists.   Is there bridging into IM of blog/message  
postings?

What open source portal / collaboration projects might you recommend  if 
ease of install and setup where of importance?

Projects I've looked at are:   phpbb.org   and  www.horde.org    Neither 
have a blog component.   I found an e-commerce open source project 
http://oscommerce.org/  But it doesn't have any message board / blog 
features.
