Good point. Perhaps I was answering a different question. A team will encounter much trouble in this situation but that doesn't make the methodology inappropriate.

I agree with the implication that 1 developer "secretly subverting" or "subverting secretly":) the process could render the methodology useless. However, I dont share the opinion that the methodology is not appropriate.
