Finding the "SWT homepage" is a litte difficult, but if you dig deep
enough and follow the links on the Eclipse download pages you can find
this gem:

They have links to the javadocs, as well as a FAQ and a ton of
examples. The Eclipse.org Articles section also has a good selection
of SWT-related articles (the layout manager article is a great start
to SWT layouts).
If you are feeling adventurous, download the latest SWT drops from the
3.0 line, you can actually integrate AWT/Swing components into your
SWT applications (I have done this with JFreeChart without incident).
