Re: unable to lauch eclipse in linux
The log file should be in <eclipse path>/workspace/.metadata/.log.
I'm not exactly sure how eclipse works on Linux, but maybe the fact you
can't find the file is a clue? In windows, the workspaces directory is
created in the eclipse installation directory. Do you have writable
permissions to that directory on Linux? You can indicate the workspace
directory you want to use by passing in -data <workspace path> arguments to
the executable.
