Session Passivation

Hey all,

I'm trying to use a method from the
HttpSessionActivationListener called sessionWillPassivate.
Reading through the javadoc I noticed that the wording
seemed to make a special case for the use of this method.

"Objects that are bound to a session may listen to
container events notifying them that sessions will be
passivated and that session will be activated. A container
that migrates session between VMs or persists sessions is
required to notify all attributes bound to sessions
implementing HttpSessionActivationListener."

I'm expecting this event to fire but, to me, it's not clear
if that is the case since I don't meet the migration of
sessions or persistance of sessions requirements that seem
to be set in the javadoc. Could anyone confirm or deny that
this is the case?

Thanks,
