Stateful Session EJB question
I was just reading on sun's site about maintaining session state
(http://java.sun.com/blueprints/qanda/app_arch/index.html).
They talked about using stateful session EJBs to maintain a session state
because then the session data wouldn't be lost if the web container crashed.
My thinking is a little hosed up...
How does the stateful session ejb get bound to a user session? So when a
client does a call to the ejb container to get a stateful ejb, what
garauntees that they get the same stateful session bean as before?
Any clarity is appreciated.
Thanks,
BAL
