Hourly is standard but fixed price will yield more money to you and better 
budgeting for your client.

A good way to determine the fixed price is to take their roi and charge a 
percentage. So if your project will yield $100,000 in profits then charge 
$25,000. Of course this should be tempered by your time required and 
competition but the key is to get them away from time and materials and onto 
the advantage of the system you are creating.
