A friend's asked me how to get started on retraining from his current
legacy language
into OO and Java. I started conversing down a long road and then stopped.
I figure there's groups, javaranch etc who have a receipe that's
polished and proven.
I browsed many of the links on the JSL web page for learning java and
many links
are now dead or not very polished resources.
Funny how a current FAQ named: HowToTeachYourSelfJavaThenGetAJob.faq
surely must exist and be maintained?
TIA from my friend.
