IDE+VIM=(mmmm....Donuts) [RE: Java recommendations for young students?]



Speaking of IDEs. Anyone know of any IDE that has vim(not visual interdev)
keymappings? I know neither JBuilder not Jdeveloper have it. Not sure about
forte.

If she's the more geeky type, then I believe your daughter will have a great
time with this.

As for the IDE, don't worry about that. I personally still use vi and can't
stand the IDEs out on the market now. She should be learning to code, not to
use a tool.
