RE: Getting started with J2ME

I don't know of any, but would be a great one to have.  As Java has grown
over the years, many Java based technologies have emerged that merit a
special interest group.  I know that within AJUG, it is especially difficult
to adequately cover all the different aspects of Java development in any
detail.  While this is often great for those wanting to get an overview of a
particular Java technology they are not familiar with, those working with it
all the time get little value out of these types of high-level
presentations.

Unfortunately, we (AJUG) don't have enough resources to start and run these
types of special interest groups.  However, if anyone out there would be
interested in taking the lead to start up a SIG for something such as J2ME,
AJUG would do whatever we could to support it.
