Oh boy, we will have some fun with this one.
First of all the articles I have read on this topic
still glean the same basic info with the main
difference being.....
1) MS .NET is product based solution
(You have to buy/use their stuff) and the OPEN
API is SOAP and xml and that's it!
2) JAVA is multiple platform multiple vendor and
has multiple API's and growing, also standards
based.
