Re: deployment of application to web

Hello,

I have a problem, I have an application that I created using visual café. It is a shopping application and displays images of the products, takes customer and product information and loads it to an Access database. I have a friend who wants it put on the web. I am not sure of the best way to do this.

I have changed the first frame of it to an applet and when I run it in Café it works fine and even picks up the other 4 frames without my having to make them into applets. But when I tried to run it in personal server, it takes forever to load and I just stop it. I’m not sure if I’m missing something in the logic or if this is not the best way to web enable this application. Are applets good for this type of thing, or should I just redo it in ASP/JavaScript or something? I was trying to get it done the quickest way possible and figured I could just change the frames to applets in Visual Café.

Thanx.
