This can be accomplished using plain socket communication. Just read the input stream and write to the output stream. It is rather simple.

I would like to automate a manual transaction that is currently done through a telnet terminal. My Initial thought was to develop a telnet bean that followed a simple script (enter this, wait for this, then enter...). Hmmm, I'm thinking if it's been done before then someone in our group would know about it! Does anyone know of a telnet bean I can use and save some time? It does not need to be fancy just a simple one or two class bean.
