Seek Website PRODUCTION Manager with background in
Production management of a large Web development shop.
NOT DEVELOPMENT.

Manages all changes and enhancements to overall website
and fixes post release. Tracks all changes.
Manage team of developers from groups working on bug
fixes/enhancements to site, static content management, E-Merchandising.
Can analyse and understand the business change impacts on multiple
environments.

Must be knowledgable and familiar with 'Feature Driven Development'
Experience with Production management of a Large Web Development shop.
Website 1M+ unique monthly visitors size. Manage Change priorities.

Unix platform environment experience.
Technically Savy with HTML/DHTML;  all the usual Large Shop web site
development
tools. + MS, Unix, JSP etc.
Production management via Change control/Version Control software
experience, mandatory
Experience with Build Management.
Will draw upon programmer/anayst team knowledge.

This person must be highly disciplined, detailed oriented, Content
manegment of changes to heavy hitting industrial Web site. dyanmic and
static and error change ticket manegement, tracking and resolution across
multiple productions environments/servers. Change priortisation. lead
revolving team of 25 developers who would report on a rotation basis
to permit one to determine impact analysis of website changes and tracking
through to completion. timing of site updates also need to be figured in to
the impact analysis. Minimisation of errornous impact to production website,
yet ability implement changes and fix erros via ticket/enhancement tracking
management ability.
