Guru Night Follow-Up!

I would like to thank all of our members who came out on May 20th to make
our Guru Night concept a big success. We had a huge crowd and lots of
interactive discussion.
A very special thank you to our panelists: Jason Chambers, James Holmes and
Joey Gibson. It is difficult to stand up in front of your peers and be
willing to take on the title of guru or expert.
Our objective was to interactively build and discuss a "checklist" of tools,
techniques, trends, best practices, architectural concepts and design
patterns. Any feedback about the format, flow and content for this event is
welcome. We are always looking for ways to better serve the Atlanta Java
community.

Many have asked for the presentation materials. A PDF can be found at
www.ajug.org, click on the Meetings link and you should be able to find it.
Don't forget June is Esoteric Night (J2ME, JMX, Webwork/Tapestry and Jini)
and July is for AOP.

Thank you and have a great Memorial Day weekend.
